PHILADELPHIA — A small aircraft crashed in Northeast Philadelphia 30 seconds after it took off as crews reply to a fiery scene, Pennsylvania’s governor stated Friday.
Gov. Josh Shapiro stated he’s providing all “Commonwealth assets as they reply to the small personal aircraft crash in Northeast Philly.”

Michael Schiavone, 37, was sitting at his residence in Mayfair on Friday when he heard a loud bang and his home shook.
