President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s contradictory takes on Musk’s electronic mail risk to federal workers left Jimmy Fallon’s head spinning and jokes churning. (Watch the video beneath.)
On Tuesday’s “The Tonight Present,” the host highlighted the confusion that has adopted Musk’s messages exhorting staff to elucidate their price or face dismissal.
After his unique electronic mail Saturday ordering workers to checklist their achievements for the week or else, Musk mentioned he was giving the staff a second chance to reply. However Trump administration personnel officers have said responding was voluntary. (Trump didn’t make clear issues any when he at one level mentioned staff could be “semi-fired” for noncompliance.)
“It’s complicated,” Fallon griped. “Whenever you stroll within the White Home and say who’s in cost, everybody simply shrugs like they’re working at Lids.”
The sports activities headwear purveyor may not admire the jab, however hats off to the host anyway.
