President Trump stated he was contemplating flying to Turkey to participate within the potential peace talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Mr. Trump stated he would be a part of the face-to-face ceasefire negotiations “if I believed it will be useful.”
“I don’t know the place I’m going to be at that specific level. I’ll be someplace within the Center East, however I might fly there if I believed it will be useful,” he stated Monday on the White Home.
The warfare has raged in Ukraine since Russia invaded its neighbor in February 2022.
Russia rejected a 30-day ceasefire proposal from Ukraine over the weekend and as a substitute pushed for direct talks. A gathering has been scheduled for Istanbul on Thursday.
Mr. Zelenskyy stated he’ll “be ready” in Turkey for Mr. Putin.

Mr. Trump urged the Ukrainian president to comply with the assembly.
